"The Key To Top SEO Rank On Google Is Proper Offpage Optimization"

There are many factors to offpage optimization. Here is a list of some important offpage ranking factors:

• The websites that link to you

• Howmany websites link to you

• What is the Google page rank of the websites that linking to you

• What is the title of the page that links to you

• What text is used (anchor text) in the link to you

• The type of linksand the number of links linking to the website that is linking to you.

• How many outbound links does the website that is linking to you have

• What is the total number of links on the website that is linked to your website

• Is the websites linked to your website an authority website.

In order to optimize our original website for the keyword "weight loss stories", we need to analyze the linking strategy of the top 10 ranked websites for our keyword.

If You Want A #1 Position Copy The Top Ranked Websites

We can go to the top ranked wesites to see what they are doing and then do it just a little bit better than them. We will give google want they require by analyzing the top spot and doing it better. that is our strategy. Let's look at a very popular key word term. The key words ar: Diet Pills. Now we will find out just how powerful ofpage optimization is.

Let's start buy making a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet.

We will make these columns:

• Linking Website

• Anchor Text used

• Page Rank

• Link Popularity

• Page Title

• Number of Outbound Links

Go to Google and enter: Diet Pills. Lok at the the top 10 search results for the keywords Diet Pills. Now put the information you found into the spread sheet columns.

The Linking Website is the website that is linked to the #1 ranked website in Google for the term "diet pills" which is www.weight-loss-institute.com/diet_pills.htm We want to find all of the websites that link to www.weight-loss-institute.com/diet_pills.htm To do that you can Google and enter this search command: link:www.weight-loss-institute.com/diet_pills.htm

When you enter this comand Google will show you the list of websites that link to www.weight-loss-institute.com/diet_pills.htm These links are called backlinks.

Recent Changes to Google has reduce the number of backlinks that it will retrun for this search command. You can enter this command link:http://www.weight-loss-institute.com/diet_pills.htm on Yahoo to get a larger list of back links. Do not forget to include "http://" when you use this command on yahoo.

Anchor Text:

It is the text that is used in the the website link. Here is an example text link: diet pills you can see the anchor text is "diet pills".

Page Rank:

It is the Google Page Rank of a webpage. In this case we are looking at the page: www.weight-loss-institute.com/diet_pills.htm You will need the Google Tool bar to see the Google Page Rank. You can get the Google Toolbar free here:
http://toolbar.google.com/

Link Popularity:

Link popularity is measured buy the number of links that are pointing to a website. In this case it is the number of links that are pointing to each of the webpages pointing to practicalweightloss.com. To find find their link popularity enter this search command into Google: link:www.thewebsite.com. Now count the number of results that are shown. You can go to http://www.linkpopularity.com/ There you will find each link partners link popularity.

Page Title:

It is the title of a webpage. In this case the tile of the page that is linked to: www.weight-loss-institute.com/diet_pills.htm Does the link ahve any keywords anchoring it? Keywords like "weight loss stories", "weight loss" or "weight". Those kind of links, links with keywords anchoring them, those are the kind of links we want. Try to get those websites to link to your website with anchor text links.

Number of Outbound Links:

It is the number of lnks on a page linking to other websites.

In this case it is the number of other links on the webpage linking to www.weight-loss-institute.com/diet_pills.htm. Less links to other pages is better for your link. Better for your page rank.

With the information we have now we can see the linking strategy of: www.weight-loss-institute.com/diet_pills.htm's

We need to see how many of websites have the keywords "diet pills", "diet", or "pills" in their page title.

We need to see how many of websites have the keywords "diet pills", "diet", or "pills" in the anchor text linked to www.weight-loss-institute.com/diet_pills.htm.

We will the same number of links and the same type of links for our link strategy.
